Building on these principles, a cluster of EU-funded projects (ENCASE, COREu, EasternLights, HERCCULES) in the field of CCS/CCUS has joined forces in this online webinar to foster cross-project exchanges, raise awareness of ongoing developments in the field of energy transition and increase the visibility of policy recommendations.

The session brought together experts from research, industry, and policy to explore how CO₂ impurities influence the entire CCUS value chain — from capture to transport and storage — and why addressing them is key to ensuring safety, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
