HERCCULES project Kick-off Meeting

HERCCULES (G.A. 101096691) was launched on 1^st January 2023 by a consortium encompassing 23 Beneficiaries plus 4 Affiliated Entities, covering 9 EU member states plus Ukraine. The project consortium is led by Laboratorio Energia Ambiente Piacenza - LEAP (Piacenza, Italy).

On the 15^th and 16^th of February, it was organized the project’s Kick-off meeting and first General Assembly where the partners presented the activities foreseen in the following months and had the opportunity to visit the A2A “Silla 2” Waste to Energy plant in Milan where a first-of-a-kind complete Calcium-Looping (CaL) pilot plant (~ 1 MW_th size) will be installed.
