2nd DISSEMINATION EVENT_CCUS in Italy: overview and perspectives

HERCCULES 2nd Dissemination event, organised by Clust-ER Greentech, took place in the Tecnopolo Reggio Emilia, Italy on October 22^nd, 2025. The event focused on CCUS in Italy and included a visit to TPI’s Post-Combustion Capture (PCC) pilot inside BUZZI’s cement plant in Vernasca during the afternoon. 

More than 70 participants attended, including consortium members, stakeholders from the scientific and industrial communities, legislators, policymakers, regulatory and environmental organisations and investors interested in the development, technological advances, and current challenges of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in Italy.
